TROUSER PATTERN

Feeling intimidated by the thought of tackling trousers?

You’re not alone!

Some of my most asked questions are about how to draft your dream trousers.
How to add pleats, waistbands that actually fit, fly details, create fun and interesting shapes and how you even go about putting your dream design onto paper.

That’s why I’ve created this six week course, teaching you exactly how to take your trouser block and transform it into something completely new!

Learn More Than Just Techniques

Tired of courses that teach a flashy technique, but not how to apply what you’ve learnt to your everyday sewing and pattern cutting?

I’m a firm believer that online courses need to give you more than just a simple how to video!

Are You?...

  • Feeling stuck when it comes to creating trouser patterns?
  • Tired of using commercial patterns that don’t reflect your personal designs?
  • Bursting with ideas for your own trouser designs but have no idea how to achieve them?
  • Ready to create your dream trousers, dreamed up, designed and drafted by you?
  • Frustrated by overly technical books and conflicting YouTube videos?
  • Wanting to learn how to change your block and hack existing trouser patterns in easy to understand terms?
  • Loving pattern cutting and sewing but wish you had a friendly expert to ask questions and get advice from?
  • Looking to connect with other students, just like you, from all over the world?
  • Guilty of buying an online course but never quite finishing it?

Kate Headshot

Hello! I’m Kate, a professional pattern cutter and creator of Project Patterns.
