There is no more creative way to make patterns and garments than by draping fabric directly onto the stand.
Learn a range of beginner draping skills and put your new skills to the test in this online course.

As well as covering some key technical knowledge such as the process that draping follows and how different fabrics and grains affect our drapes, you’ll learn to drape four completely different garments including a bodice block, a trapeze top, a pleated skirt and a beautiful back cowl.

Each project in this course aims to teach you a new draping skill and elevate your knowledge. From draping both fitted and voluminous garments to draping details such as pleats and cowls, this course will equip you with the beginner draping skills that you need to start draping your own unique designs.
